A Resolution of the Salt Lake County Council Approving the Attached Letter of Understanding between Salt Lake County Regional Planning and Transportation and Salt Lake County Parks and Recreation for the Use of Seven Hundred Seventy Thousand Three Hundred and Thirteen Dollars ($770,313.00) from the Regional Transportation Choice Fund (4th Quarter)
body

Description: Salt Lake County Parks and Recreation requested the Office of Regional Development fund the approved projects: Cardiff By-Pass Trail $100,000.00 Rose Yellow Fork Canyon Recreation Area $405,000.00 Bonneville Shoreline Trail - West Side $ 20,000.00 Jordan River Recreation Area - Phase 1 $245,313.00 Total: $770,313.00 The four proposed projects are on Salt Lake County's Parks and Recreation 10-year master plan. An assessment performed every 3 years by Parks prioritized these projects because they have additional fund sources in place. Parks is making this onetime effort to access the match from the Regional Transportation Funds due to 2020 budget cuts in the Parks and Recreation Department as a result of COVID-19.
