body

Description:  Salt Lake County Parks and Recreation requested the Office of Regional Development fund the approved projects:                                                                                Cardiff By-Pass Trail                                                   $100,000.00                                           Rose Yellow Fork Canyon Recreation Area                $405,000.00                                     Bonneville Shoreline Trail - West Side                       $  20,000.00                                         Jordan River Recreation Area - Phase 1                      $245,313.00                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Total:                            $770,313.00                                                                                                                                The four proposed projects are on Salt Lake County’s Parks and Recreation 10-year master plan. An assessment performed every 3 years by Parks prioritized these projects because they have additional fund sources in place. Parks is making this onetime effort to access the match from the Regional Transportation Funds due to 2020 budget cuts in the Parks and Recreation Department as a result of COVID-19.
