Requested Agenda Item Description: The ZAP Program respectfully requests your consideration of the following nominee to fill the final ZAP Tier II Advisory Board vacancy for 2021.
Mayor Dirk Burton (West Jordan) was nominated to serve on the ZAP Tier II Advisory Board during the Conference of Mayors meeting held on June 24, 2021. Per County Ordinance 3.07.060, two mayors from municipalities within Salt Lake County shall serve on the Tier II Advisory Board.
Mayor Burton would be replacing Mayor Michael Peterson on the board to serve a three-year term, beginning June 29, 2021, and ending December 31, 2023.
