Description: Salt Lake County (the “County”) owns a parcel of real property located at approximately 14178 South Loumis Parkway (Parcel No. 33-03-452-007) in Bluffdale City, Utah (the “Property”). South Valley Sewer District (the “District”) has installed a sewer pipeline and other sewer transmission and distribution structures and facilities (the “Project”) in a city park adjacent to the Property. For the Project, the District needs to acquire a 20-foot wide perpetual non-exclusive easement (the “Easement Area”) to allow for the construction, maintenance, and repair of the District’s underground sewer pipeline and related facilities (the “Sewer Facilities”). While the Easement Area lies mostly in the city park, the District needs to acquire an easement interest from the County over approximately 720 square feet of the Property to complete the Easement Area. The District has requested that the County sell to it the portion of the Easement Area that affects the Property for $500.00. The County and the District have prepared a recordable instrument (the “Easement”) wherein the County grants a perpetual non-exclusive easement interest the portion of the Easement Area that affects the Property to the District for the construction, maintenance, and repair of the Sewer Facilities.
