Requested Agenda Item Description: Parks and Recreation requests to recognize $2,720,320 in revenue and expense for the Butterfield Trailhead Phase 2 project.
As the Butterfield Trailhead Phase 1 project nears completion, this additional funding for Phase 2 would allow for a more comprehensive buildout of the area. The project would include the equestrian entry road, trailhead parking area, trailhead amenities, maintenance building (excluding the restroom portion), and necessary utilities.
This project was presented by the Office of Regional Development as one of the 4th Quarter Local Option Sales Tax transportation projects approved by the Council on 12/12/23. No new County dollars are requested.
