Budget Adjustment: Public Works Engineering requests to add $46,000 to their budget for two projects in Kearns. Project expenses will be reimbursed by the Greater Salt Lake Municipal Services District.

Requested Agenda Item Description: The Greater Salt Lake Municipal Services District "GSLMSD" recently added $46,000 to the Public Works Engineering project budget to be used for projects in Kearns as follows:
EFCMC240004, 4220 W Sidewalk: $31,000. The funds will be used to hire a consultant for the environmental evaluation which is required for projects that include federal funding.
EFCMC220002, 4015 W Twilight Dr to 5700 S: $15,000. The funds will be used to construct the proposed improvements which include bulb-outs, restriping, and signage.
This budget adjustment is budget neutral because project expenses will be reimbursed by the GSLMSD.
