Consideration of Approval of Salt Lake County Constable Jeremey T. Reitz’s Appointment of Tomas Pena as a Deputy Constable
Requested Agenda Item Description: Salt Lake County Constable Jeremy T. Reitz has submitted an application and supporting information necessary to appoint Tomas Pena to serve as a deputy constable under their authority pursuant to Salt Lake County Ordinance § 2.50.090. If approved by the Council, Tomas Pena would serve as a deputy constable under Constable Reitz’s authority for a term of six years, or until the termination of Constable Reitz’s term, which is currently set to expire on June 30, 2025.
