Consideration of a request to repeal Countywide Policies 1400-4 and 1400-5

Body

Requested Agenda Item Description: The County Information Technology Division would like to repeal Countywide policies 1400-4 and 1400-5. These polices are outdated. The principles in the policies have been updated and added to IT standards. IT Standards are more efficient in covering the quickly changing area of information technology. The County’s IT Standards are backed by Countywide policy 1400, which charges the Information Technology Division with creating IT standards that are then reviewed by the Technology Advisory Board.
