Requested Agenda Title:

First Reading of An Ordinance, Amending Title 19, Entitled “Zoning” of the Salt Lake County Code of Ordinances, 2001, to Reclassify Certain Property Located in Salt Lake County from The A-2 Zone (Agriculture) to the A-1 Zone (Agriculture)

Requested Agenda Item Description: The applicant, Adam Von Maack, is applying on behalf of the owner of the property. The owner wishes to subdivide the property located at 3198 North 2200 West into two separate lots in order to sell the home on the back portion of the lot while keeping the barn. The current property is 1.47 acres in size, but the A-2 zone requires a minimum lot size of 1 acre which would prevent the property from being subdivided. The A-1 zone that the applicant desires would reduce the required lot size to 10,000 square feet and allow for a subdivision.
