A Proclamation of The Salt Lake County Council Recognizing The Clark Planetarium Staff
Requested Agenda Item Description: In the last month and beyond the Clark Planetarium have done amazing work, not only with their regular programs like including star parties across Salt Lake County, Astrotots, Fun Science Fridays, Clark Creates, and Sensory Friendly Saturday, the Planetarium ran an additional series of events across the valley from September 20 - Oct 14, 2023. These additional programs include OSIRIS REx landing event, FanX, the Mayor’s book club and the Annular Eclipse event. We would like the council to recognize this effort and the benefits the Clark Planetarium brings to the residents of Salt Laken County.
