Body

Requested Agenda Item Description: High-resolution Orthogonal Imagery Partnership: Transfer funds for additional Pictometry High-resolution Orthogonal Imagery from dedicated Corner preservation account. The State of Utah contacted the Surveyor’s Office about a partnership to obtain imagery of northwest corner of Salt Lake County, which is outside of the current scope. We are currently acquiring High-resolution Orthogonal Imagery and supporting services by partnering with Salt Lake County Assessor's Office and Pictometry International Corp. This partnership allows the County to obtain High-resolution Orthogonal Imagery at a significantly reduced cost. The High-resolution Orthogonal Imagery has wide ranging benefits to the County and public. The County Surveyor will partner with the State of Utah to be reimbursed for this additional cost. This is a budget neutral request.

This is being submitted as a one-time adjustment as part of the 2023 budget due to the ongoing 2022 budget adjustment request being submitted at a too late stage. A new contract will be submitted in 2024.
