Budget Adjustment: The Fleet Management Division requests $63,962 from Fleet Management Fund to reclassify a vacant Operations Manager position to an Associate Director position.

Requested Agenda Item Description: Fleet management is requesting to reclass an open Operations Manager position to an Associate Director position. Fleet Management reclassed an Associate Director position in 2016 to an Operations Manager to accommodate operational needs at the time. With all of Fleet’s senior management retiring within 2 years we are asking to reclass the open Operations Manager position back to an Associate Director with succession planning in mind. The goal would be to hire an Associate Director capable of potentially taking over as Division Director to provide continuity in management.
