Budget Adjustment: The Information Technology Department requests $72,903 for the County’s annual licensing and maintenance costs for PeopleSoft. Of which, $67,118 is one-time due to the County total expenditures moving to the next tier and should go back down when our federal dollars subside.

Requested Agenda Item Description: The County's annual licensing and maintenance agreement for PeopleSoft calls for increases each time the budget reaches certain thresholds. The County's adjusted budget increased over $280 million between 2022 and 2023 which surpassed the next threshold in our contract. As a result we have been billed for a one time license true-up and an ongoing increase in our maintenance cost. IT's 2023 maintenance increase request was not approved which makes it impossible for IT to absorb this increase.
