Salt Lake County Noxious Weed Control Board RE-Appointment
RE-Appointment: Ron Jones
Requested Agenda Item Description: The noxious weed board is a 5-member board consisting of 2 farmers, or persons involved in production agriculture. Ron Jones has served previous terms and is one of the few wheat farmers left in Salt Lake County. His knowledge and expertise of are farming over many decades on the southwest part of the Salt Lake Valley are valuable to the weed board. As it is very difficult to find busy farmers to volunteer their time in the weed board, we appreciate his time and willingness to serve a 2nd term.
