Budget Adjustment: Parks and Rec requests to add $134,200 to the Pioneer Crossing Regional Park project’s budget for additional items that Forestry Fire and State Lands will reimburse.

Requested Agenda Item Description: Pioneer Crossing Regional Park - Phase I is set to be complete in May 2023. The project includes a maintenance building, multi-use trails, an accessible boat launch, parking, site lighting, and playground play nodes along the trail. The project was awarded two revenue commitments from Forestry Fire and State Lands (FFSL) to build additional items shown in the master plan and to complete Ph. 1 construction. The project was awarded a total of $134,200 and will be used to construct two additional play nodes, a connector trail, monument sign, and multi-use trail extension. The finalized agreement between FFSL and SLCO is attached. The $134,200 will be reimbursed by FFSL once the money has been spent. It is requested that $134,200 be recognized as revenue along with the associated expense for the Pioneer Crossing project. No new County dollars are requested.
