Budget Adjustment: The Landfill requests $585,000 from their restricted equipment replacement fund to rebuild a dozer.

Requested Agenda Item Description: D9 Dozer #1L041 needs to be rebuilt because it's requiring more expensive maintenance. This D9 is not being operated to avoid major damage. We own three D9 dozers and one D8 dozer. We need a minimum of two D9 at any given day. The D8 is also not being used to avoid further damage and a replacement has already been ordered. The cost of a complete rebuild is 1/3 the cost of a new D9. The rebuild comes with a 3 year/5000-hour warranty. It will take 3-4 months to complete as opposed to a year for new machine. This is a balance sheet item and funding will come from the restricted cash account - equipment replacement fund.
