Budget Adjustment: Arts and Culture requests $22,975 to replace the HVAC cooling coil at the Abravanel Hall by utilizing underspent budgets from the UMOCA Ceiling Tile project.

Requested Agenda Item Description: This is an exigency request for an HVAC Cooling Coil at Abravanel Hall. The coil provides cooling to Utah Symphony offices and is critical during the hot summer months. This coil will take 6-8 weeks to procure, a week for shipping, and another week for installation. Due to the lead time, it is crucial we order the coil as soon as possible.
The project can be funded by underspend from the UMOCA Ceiling Tile project, CFA_071UMOCA. This project is in its final phase and is projected to be under budget by $22,975. We have received a quote of $20,115.73 for the new coil with a contingency of $2,859.27. This is a net neutral budget request.
