Requested Agenda Item Description: The Community Council Ordinance is a repeal and replace motion to clarify the roles of the Community Councils in Unincorporated areas of Salt Lake County. It also recognizes the Community Councils in County Ordinance and provides for a standard process for gaining recognition and funding. Each Community Council was included in negotiating the terms of the ordinance over the course of 6 months.
