Budget Adjustment: The Sheriff’s Office has received $125,000 from Utah Department of Public Safety for mental health services for first responders, their families and retirees. This adjustment is to recognize the grant.

Requested Agenda Item Description: The Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office has received funding through the State’s Department of Public Safety grant for services supporting Mental Health Resources for First Responders. Funding from this grant will be utilized to provide mental health services through a contracted vendor to first responders following a critical incident. This funding will also provide access to mental health programs for first responders' families and retirees, as well as health awareness training and coaching classes focused on coping skills. This submission is for the addition of expenditure and revenue amounts to the budget in order to enable these funds to be utilized.
