Consideration of the ZAP Advisory Board Financial Work Committee’s Recommendations for Updates to Policy 1031

Requested Agenda Item Description: As of 2023, ZAP Advisory Boards have reemployed Work Committees (WC). The two joint WCs are made up of Advisory Board members from each Tier together that focus on Financial and General Practices of the program. The Advisory Boards are seeking approval from the Council (before grant applications open this year) for two recommendations to update financial thresholds within each Tier respectively based on performing Consumer Price Index (CPI) analyses. The Tier I Advisory Board is recommending an increase for applicant organization minimum qualifying expenditures. The Tier II Advisory Board is recommending an increase of the financial thresholds.
