Requested Agenda Item Description: Salt Lake County Regional Planning & Transportation is providing a $20,000 local match to a Wasatch Front Regional Council’s Transportation and Land Use Connection grant for the Southwest Waterways Visioning Plan.  The purpose of the local match is to support the creation of the Southwest Waterways Visioning Plan which will produce an existing conditions report, public engagement strategy, and a final Visioning Plan document.  The Plan will cover selected riparian corridors including Bingham, Midas, Rose, Butterfield, Copper Creek, and Barneys Creek.  Match requests have also been extended to the municipalities that are near or contiguous to the creeks, including West Jordan, South Jordan, Herriman, Riverton, Bluffdale, and Copperton.
