Requested Agenda Item Description: We are requesting $200,000 to replace the 2 boilers and piping that provide hot water to the laundry facilities at Oxbow Jail. The laundry facilities are used for both Oxbow as well as the ADC for their laundry needs. One of the current boilers went out this past summer and we have been trying to repair it while using the one that was still working, but recently learned it is past the point of repair. Unfortunately, the increased workload is now causing the second boiler to fail every day and has to be reset. We need to move forward with this replacement before both boilers are completely lost.
