Requested Agenda Item Description: In 2022, Regional Planning & Transportation allocated funding to Parks & Recreation for five (5) east/west regional trails. Circumstances surrounding two of these trails have changed since receiving the allocation. Consequently, Parks & Recreation requests to move funding from those trails/phases to Butterfield Canyon to construct a trailhead. This budget adjustment reflects that change in scope, and also adjusts the account-level budgets to properly account for the trails that will be constructed for other jurisdictions and thus not capitalized as assets by the County. These trails include Ritter Canal Trail for the Municipal Services District and a portion of the Bingham Creek Park Trail for the Bingham Creek Regional Park Authority.
