Requested Agenda Item Description: This request is to set up revenue and expense budgets for a newly awarded childcare grant. The Utah Department of Workforce Services Office of Child Care has awarded Salt Lake County’s childcare and Early Head Start centers with a childcare stabilization grant.
The grant will pay each center a set amount, based on the center's childcare license, each month from July 2022 through September 2023. This grant will allow the childcare and Early Head Start centers to invest in supplies, furnishings, improvements, and equipment that will ensure a safe and productive learning environment for each child.
