A Resolution of the Salt Lake County Council Approving Execution of an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement with Taylorsville City and the Conveyance of Surplus County Property in the Public Use to Taylorsville City

Requested Agenda Item Description: Salt Lake County owns several parcels of real property in Taylorsville City known as Taylorsville Park and Skyview Detention Basin Park, which are in the public use as public parks. Taylorsville City has requested the County enter an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement for the County to convey the Parks to the City. The Salt Lake County Council held a public hearing on December 8, 2020, and by resolution declared the Parks surplus and available for disposal. It has been determined that the best interests of the County and the general public will be served by execution of the attached Interlocal Cooperation Agreement and the conveyance of the Parks to Taylorsville. The conveyances will comply with all applicable state statutes and County ordinances.
