Requested Agenda Item Description: This presentation’s purpose is to provide an overview of services the Salt Lake County Health Department’s Environmental Health Division provides in Salt Lake County. The overview includes services and recognition related to the Environmental Health Division Bureaus: Water Quality, Air Quality, Sanitation and Safety, and Food Protection. In addition, an information about the Tobacco Permitting and Enforcement work, 24-hour response team, and the Environmental Crimes Task Force will be provided. Council Chair Stringham requested an overview at a Council Meeting specific to the services the Environmental Health Division provides to the County.
