Budget Adjustment: Clerk’s Request for $3,106,843 for the 2022 Election Costs

Requested Agenda Item Description: The Clerk's Office is requesting personnel and operational costs associated with the 2022 Primary and 2022 General Election. Below is a list of the offices to be filled in the 2022 Election year. This was erroneously omitted when the 2022 budget was prepared.
Some of the higher costs are attributed to recent legislation (2022 HB387, 2022 HB313,etc.), which requires additional drop boxes, security cameras to monitor each drop box, increased security with regards to poll watchers, and heightened ballot tracking requirements.
