Requested Agenda Item Description: Salt Lake County has been awarded $1.5 M from the State of Utah to enhance the Jordan River Channel at the Brighton Northpoint Diversion site near 4500 S. This Channel Improvement project will create a new channel with improved Riparian structure, navigability, conveyance, and habitat. The project will begin February 2022 and be mostly completed by June 22, 2022. Murray City and Taylorsville City are project partners donating access to the project and staging area access.
