A Resolution of the Salt Lake County Council Authorizing the Low-Cost Lease of Underutilized Parcels to Green Urban Lunchbox

Requested Agenda Item Description: Pursuant to Utah Code Annotated Section 17-50-303(3), and, to Salt Lake County Countywide Policy 1200, the County Council may contribute funds, to a nonprofit organization in order to promote the safety, health, peace, comfort, or convenience of County residents. Green Urban Lunchbox is a non-profit organization with operations in Salt Lake County. The Salt Lake County Council desires to approve the lease of property, identified in the attached lease agreement, to GULB for a reduced rental rate. The Salt Lake County Council finds that leasing the property to GULB for a reduced rate will benefit the residents.
