Requested Agenda Item Description: The Council will set a public hearing for November 9th to receive comments from the public on the proposed modifications to Salt Lake County Code of Ordinances Section 19.74.040 Areas of Special Flood Hazard to automatically incorporate by reference the maps and studies prepared by FEMA entitled, "The Flood Insurance Study for Salt Lake County and Incorporated Communities," dated November 19, 2021.

The proposed amendments will be heard by the SLCo Planning Commission and the Mountainous Planning Commission at a special public meeting being held on November 4, 2021. Recommendations from each body will accompany the November 9, 2021 Council agenda packet.
