Requested Agenda Item Description: Housing Connect is requesting that Gwen White be reappointed to the Housing Connect Board of Commissioners. Her first full-term ended on August 1, 2021. Gwen is a member of Housing Connect's Resident Advisory Board (RAB) and provides valuable RAB and tenant feedback and perspective to the Housing Connect Board in her capacity as one of our commissioners. She has been a pleasure to have on the Housing Connect Board of Commissioners, and we look forward to her continued services as a commissioner.
Housing Connect is also requesting the reappointment of Phil Bernal to the Housing Connect Board of Commissioners. Phil took over the term of a former commissioner who was not able to complete her assignment, and his first term will end on October 10, 2021. Phil actively participates in the leadership of the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) and provides valuable perspective on a number of national and local housing issues. We greatly appreciate Phil's service as a Board commissioner, and we look forward to his continued service as a commissioner.
