Requested Agenda Title: A Resolution of the Salt Lake County Council Authorizing the Execution of an Interlocal Agreement with Unified Fire Authority
Requested Agenda Item Description: The Unified Fire Authority (UFA) is hosting a conference on October 12 and 13 at the Mountain America Expo Center. The Interdiction for the Protection of Children is the title of the conference and will welcome first responders who will be trained on how to recognize and rescue endangered children. UFA has requested a fee waiver for this conference. As the public benefit is clear, the Mayor’s Office is submitting this resolution and interlocal agreement authorizing this fee waiver with a value of $1,967, to the Council for approval. .
