Requested Agenda Item Description: The Salt Lake County Department of Regional Economic Development will follow-up on the May 25 Council Work Session presentation regarding Tax Increment Financing (TIF) strategy. The Department will request a motion to affirm the quantitative "but for" requirement under Policy 1155 as highlighted by the consultants' report. The Department will also present and request feedback on the planned next steps for working with cities to satisfy this requirement and strengthen the overall partnership.
