A Resolution of the Salt Lake County Council Authorizing the Acquisition of Certain Parcels of Real Property for Sale at Public Auction

Requested Agenda Item Description: On May 27, 2021, the Salt Lake County Auditor will conduct a public auction for any real property with taxes that have been delinquent for four years from the final tax payment deadline (five years including by the date of the sale). A few Salt Lake County agencies have identified some parcels listed for sale at the Public Auction that would be advantageous for Salt Lake County to acquire. It has been determined that the best interest of the County and the general public will be served by the acquisition of the Properties by the County at the Public Auction. This transaction will be in compliance with all applicable state statutes and county ordinances.
