Budget Adjustment: Public Works’ Request Recognize $180,391 in Revenue and Expense from the State and Greater Salt Lake Municipal Services District for a Capital Project

Requested Agenda Item Description: project budget. In addition, PWE has a grant agreement with the State of Utah for this project that was entered into prior to the formation of the GSLMSD. The State will be paying Salt Lake County the grant funds once the project is constructed. Because the project is now in a GSLMSD jurisdiction, the County will need to transfer the grant revenue to the GSLMSD. $78,000 of the $180,391 will be used to transfer the grant revenue to the GSLMSD. The budget adjustment is neutral because the County will receive revenue from the State and the GSLMSD to cover the project expenses and the pass-through expense to distribute the grant funds to the GSLMSD.
