Approval to Lift ZAP Tier I & Zoological Operations Budget Control

Requested Agenda Item Description: As some of you are aware, the 2020 ZAP tax collections at year-end experienced two significant surges in September and November. These revenue increases were received by the County after the year-end budget adjustment deadline. If revenues are passed-thru to grantees as directed by statute, the operating appropriation for both the Tier I and Zoological sub-departments will be exceeded. We believe the best course of action is to distribute the revenue and take the audit finding.
