Description: Since 2017 there has been an unprecedented expansion of services in Salt Lake County. “The Evolving Landscape of Behavioral Health Services in Salt Lake County” provides a high-level view of the significant gaps that existed in services in the past, the reasons for the gaps and what has been done to address the needs. Capacity has more than tripled for some services, particularly in certain areas such as residential treatment in substance use disorder (SUD) settings.
