West General Plan Steering Committee Appointment
Description: Salt Lake County has been in the process of developing a long-range plan for the unincorporated western areas of SLCo since early 2018. The planning process includes many important groups providing collective input including a Steering Committee. This committee is composed of County Staff and Appointed Officials, Greater Salt Lake Municipal Services District, Transportation Agencies, Water Agency, and others. The intent of the steering committee is to guide the West General Plan and to understand the complexities of the stakeholder group. The West General Plan Steering Committee currently has a vacancy from the County Council. We request that one or two County Council Members (Senior Policy Advisors) be selected to participate on the Steering Committee.
