Approval of the Salt Lake County Hazardous Chemical Local Emergency Planning Committee ("LEPC")

Description:  Pursuant to Salt Lake County Municipal Code 2.26: Hazardous Chemical Local Planning Committee - LEPC members are appointed by the Mayor with advice and consent of the Council. The members represent organizations who have experience in planning for, responding to, and mitigating hazardous material incidents throughout the County. The LEPC is responsible for developing an emergency response plan for the County regarding hazardous materials. Members of the LEPC come from the private sector and municipalities and agencies located within the County.
