Utah Climate and Air Quality Compact

body

Description:  In 2019 the Kem Gardner Institute, using funding provided by the Utah Legislature, produced the Utah Roadmap: Positive Solutions to Climate and Air Quality.  The roadmap acts as guide to help Utah achieve modest emission reductions by 2050.   Using the Roadmap, a small steering committee that includes Scott Anderson of Zions Bank, Pat Jones of the Women’s Leadership Institute, Greg Miller of Larry H. Miller Group, Kem and Christian Gardner of Gardner Company,  and Sarah Wright of Utah Clean Energy worked to create a breakthrough compact among Utah leaders on climate and clean air action. The attached compact is the culmination of that effort. The compact is part of a larger campaign to depoliticize the subject of climate change and concentrate on solutions
