Declaration of Donation: $24,000 Donation Received from Intermountain Healthcare for Aging & Adult Services

Description: Intermountain Healthcare has given a donation of $24,000 to Salt Lake County Aging & Adult Services to be distributed as follows:
1. Implementing Mindfulness classes for older adults ($4,000).
2. Covering registration fees for the Diabetes Prevention Program for low-income, uninsured individuals ($6,000).
3. Management of the self-monitoring blood pressure program in the form of a lending library for underserved individuals ($2,000).
4. Support for the Salt Lake County ME Time program (formally called the Blues Program) for youth mental health treatment ($12,000).
Upon approval by the County Council, the funds will be transferred to Salt Lake County Aging & Adult Services to distribute to the designated programs outlined above.
