Description:  Salt Lake County owns fee title to a parcel of real property located at 3419 South 1000 West, South Salt Lake, Utah, identified as Parcel No. 15-26-451-027. The County Property is approximately 2.069 acres. The Jonathon C. Kammerer Revocable Trust dated the 15th of March 2017 +owns fee title to a parcel of real property located at 3512 South 1000 West, South Salt Lake, Utah, identified as Parcel No. 15-35-100-003. Jonathon C. Kammerer is the trustee of the Kammerer Trust. The Trust Property is approximately 1.3 acres. The County and the Kammerer Trust have negotiated to exchange the County Property for the Trust Property pursuant to the terms and conditions of a Land Exchange Agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A. The County Property is valued at $540,678.00, and the Kammerer Property is valued at $340,800.00. Pursuant to the Agreement, at closing the County receive title to the Kammerer Parcel and $199,878.00 in cash in exchange for deeding the County Property to the Kammerer Trust. Having held a public hearing on June 30, 2020, after providing notice, the County may now declare the County Property surplus. It has been determined that the best interests of the County and the general public will be served by exchanging the County Property for the Kammerer Property as proposed in the attached Agreement. This exchange will comply with all applicable state statutes and County ordinances.
