An ordinance amending section 3.42.073, entitled “Department Director Power - Fees,” of the Salt Lake County Code of Ordinances, 2001, is hereby amended by providing that a division director's recommendation to waive fees is finally determined by the County Council, and making related changes (Formal Adoption Will Take Place on July 16, 2019)

Description: Changes are being proposed to this ordinance to align with current practice and policy related to the approval of fee waivers. These proposed changes make clear that all fee waivers must ultimately be approved by the county council as current policy 1200 clearly states. These changes were presented to the Steering Committee and this committee is fully supportive.
