Presentation to update the Council on Utah Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Permit (UPDES) requirements.

Description: Salt Lake County has recently undergone stormwater (UPDES) permitting updates to reflect the jurisdictional changes associated with the Millcreek incorporation. The UPDES program has also been under a Consent Decree issued in 2015 based on a 2012 State of Utah and EPA audit and resulting settlement. In an effort to keep Council appraised of the status of the UPDES program, UPDES permitting status and Consent Decree completion, Robert Thompson, UPDES Section manager, requests the opportunity for a brief council update.
