 Resolution of the Salt Lake County Council approving amendment 1 to the naming rights agreement with Mountain America Federal Credit Union for the Mountain America Expo Center

Description:  The three LED sign screens (2 actual structures) located at the Mountain America Expo Center are old, unreliable, and are often in need of repair.  Mountain America has agreed to discard the old screens, purchase and install the new screens with an approximate cost of $250,000.  In exchange for this, the county would agree to an increase in the amount of exposure time Mountain America receives on the screens. In the original agreement, Mountain America received 30% exposure time on the screens.  If approved, this amendment would increase that to 50%.  The county does not believe this increase will in any way impede on the exposure needs of the Expo Center or its other customers.
