Description: As a member of the Wasatch Brownfields Coalition, Salt Lake County manages a grant from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) from which the County, on behalf of the Coalition, makes low and no-interest loans to eligible recipients to cleanup eligible contaminated brownfields sites. As approved by the EPA RLF Board, the county would like to enter into a 0% interest loan for 3 years with Granton Square LLC in order to facilitate the remediation and redevelopment of a property at 118 West 4800 South in Murray. The loan amount is $99,403.84, to be repaid over a maximum of three years. All remediation will be overseen by Utah Department of Environmental Quality and the EPA.
