Mayor’s Contribution Request - Utah Health Policy Project (Take Care Utah)

Description: Contribution of $750 to Take Care Utah, which is Utah Health Policy Project’s outreach and enrollment program. Take Care Utah is organizing the 3rd annual Hispanic Heritage Parade and Street Festival, which will be on September 22, 2018 at The Gateway. The purposes of the event are to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month and to raise awareness of Utah having the highest uninsured rate for Hispanic children in the nation. This contribution would go toward efforts to reduce this uninsured rate. Take Care Utah approaches individuals at the event with the goal of helping them enroll in health insurance.
