Recognition of Salt Palace Convention Center and Mountain America Expo Center Receiving the IMEX-EIC Innovation in Sustainability Award

Description: At the 4pm Council meeting under Report of the Elected Officials, Mayor McAdams would like to recognize the Green Team Committee based out of the Salt Palace Convention Center and Mountain America Exposition Center, which includes a partnership between our two venues and our three hospitality partners in Visit Salt Lake, Utah Food Services, and PSAV, who recently received the "IMEX-EIC Innovation in Sustainability Award" for this year. This award is given out annually at IMEX Frankfurt and is a global competition for the hospitality industry.
