Requested Agenda Item Description: The Requested Agenda Item Description should provide context for Councilmembers, staff, and members of the public to clearly understand the purpose of the agenda item, any relevant background information, and the nature of any action that is being requested.SVN NOBBS EAST SAHARA, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, is the owner of certain real property known as Building C, 3676 W. California Avenue, Salt Lake City, Utah 84104, which Building contains approximately eighteen thousand (18,000) rentable square feet and as more specifically described in the lease agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A; and the Salt Lake County Health Department recommended that Salt Lake County lease the Property to be used for emergencies service storage; and SVN has agreed to lease the Property to County, and County has agreed to lease the Property from SVN, for an initial term of sixty (60) months, for the initial yearly base rent of One Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars ($120,000.00) ("Lease Price"), subject to a three percent (3%) yearly increase, and as more particularly set forth in the Lease Agreement, subject to Council's approval; and County and SVN have negotiated a Lease Agreement for the lease of the Property, subject to Council's approval; and it has been determined that the best interests of County and the general public will be served by authorizing the lease of the Property and the execution of the Lease Agreement attached to this Resolution.
