Requested Agenda Title:

Budget Adjustment: Facilities Requests to Transfer $80,000 in Under-Expend Budget from Various Projects to the Kearns Senior Center Remodeling Transformational Initiative Project

Requested Agenda Item Description: The original project request for the Kearns Senior Center included funding for both the building remodel and the resurfacing of the parking lot, with a total budget of $2,028,000. During planning, the parking lot component was reassigned to its own accounting string and separated from the main project scope. Unfortunately, this adjustment was not accurately reflected in our internal cost tracking, and the project estimate continued to include the full original budget, rather than the revised amount allocated solely to the remodel. As a result, the project is short $80,000.

To resolve this, we are requesting a transfer of $80,000 from under expend. This transfer will allow us to fully fund the final payments to any outstanding invoices and

complete the project as intended.
